Ingredients

  • ½ cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Cocoa powder
  • ½ cup All-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp Baking powder
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ½ cup Dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat & Prepare :
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Melt & Mix :
    In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter, then stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients :
    In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Make the Batter :
    Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Layer & Bake :
    Pour half the batter into the prepared pan, smooth the top, then add the remaining batter for a layered effect. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out slightly moist.
  • Cool & Serve :
    Allow brownies to cool in the pan for 20 minutes before cutting into squares. Serve warm for the best fudgy texture!
