  • Rolling Pin If needed to slightly roll out puff pastry

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Puff pastry
  • 2 medium Apples
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Egg

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the apples: Peel, core, and thinly slice the apples. Toss them with sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • Roll out the puff pastry: If needed, lightly roll out the pastry. Cut into squares or rectangles.
  • Assemble the pastry: Place apple slices in the center of each pastry square. Fold or leave open-faced.
  • Seal and brush: If folding, seal edges with a fork. Brush the pastry with egg wash for a golden finish.
  • Bake: Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.
  • Cool and serve: Let the pastries cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with caramel sauce or ice cream.
